PRACTICE EXPERIENCE:
Mr. Inman joined the firm in 1952, and his experience covers the full range of labor and employment law and employee relations administration throughout the U.S., Puerto Rico, Trinidad, Aruba, and other areas of the Caribbean. While in active practice, he also served for years as adjunct professor of law in the fields of labor, discrimination, and employment law at the Tulane College of Law.
Currently, his work is devoted principally to counseling executive and middle management in strategic development and administration of personnel policies, compliance with employment and antidiscrimination laws, union avoidance, union decertification, negotiation and administration of labor contracts, and labor aspects of mergers and acquisitions. He has had extensive experience in representing management in banking, construction, hospitals, food and beverage processing, wholesaling and retailing, mining, inland waterways transportation, and manufacturing, including chemicals, petroleum products, paper, metal fabrication, furniture, soft goods, and electronic equipment.
