PRACTICE EXPERIENCE:
Christine Goldberg is a Shareholder in the Kullman Firm’s Baton Rouge office. Ms. Goldberg has extensive experience defending employers in cases involving sexual harassment, race discrimination, age discrimination, and disability discrimination, including some class action lawsuits. Ms. Goldberg also has experience advising employers regarding wage and hour issues and has been involved with several wage and hour collective actions. Ms. Goldberg has extensive experience litigating matters relating to the enforcement of noncompetition agreements and other restrictive covenants. She regularly represents employers before both the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Department of Labor.

In addition to her litigation experience, Ms. Goldberg is routinely called upon to provide advice to employers regarding personnel policies, leave issues, and discipline and discharge matters. Ms. Goldberg works closely with management and human resource representatives to ensure compliance with Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and the Americans with Disabilities Act. Ms. Goldberg has traveled across the country conducting training and workshops for management-level employees regarding critical human resource issues.

Ms. Goldberg is actively involved in the Baton Rouge Community and is a 2005 graduate of the Greater Baton Rouge Chamber of Commerce “Leadership Greater Baton Rouge.” Ms. Goldberg has recently been recognized by the Baton Rouge Business Report as one of Baton Rouge’s 50 for the Future. She has also been nominated by the YWCA as an Outstanding Young Woman of Achievement. Ms. Goldberg is active in the Middle District Chapter of the Federal Bar Association where she has served as Treasurer, Vice President, President-Elect, and President. Ms. Goldberg is regularly involved in the community as a volunteer on several non-profit boards, associations and related committees.
