PRACTICE EXPERIENCE:
Mr. Woodford graduated with honors from Duke University and the Washington & Lee University School of Law. Before moving to Mobile in 1996, Mr. Woodford practiced in Washington with a large multinational law firm. AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell, Mr. Woodford’s practice focuses on labor and employment representing management, including:
• Representing private and public employers in litigation involving all areas of employment law.
• Representing employers before state and federal enforcement and regulatory agencies, including the EEOC and the Department of Labor (OSHA and Wage–Hour Administration).
• Drafting employment policies and procedures, employee handbooks, employment contracts, non-compete agreements, trade secret agreements and drug testing programs.
• Counseling employers in all aspects of employment law.
Mr. Woodford is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, including the National, Mobile and Baldwin County chapters; the Labor Relations Research Association; the Labor and Employment Sections of the American Bar Association, the Florida Bar, the Alabama State Bar and the District of Columbia Bar.
