Joseph R. Ward III
Mr. Ward, a native of New Orleans, joined The Kullman Firm in 2014.
Mr. Ward currently represents and counsels employers in various areas of employment law, including discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation, and breach of contract actions. Mr. Ward also represents employers in wage and hour litigation under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), as well as state wage and hour laws, with an emphasis on class, collective and hybrid actions. Mr. Ward has experience defending employers against wage-and-hour claims for unpaid overtime, exemption misclassification, minimum wage, and fluctuating work week violations in multiple federal jurisdictions across the United States. He also handles matters arising in the service and hospitality industry defending claims of improper tip-pooling and violations of tip-credit regulations.
