Labor Law and Unions

We represent clients with both union and nonunion workforces.  We assist our unionized clients with matters involving collective bargaining, grievance handling, arbitration hearings, and working within the framework of a union contract.  We also assist unionized companies involved in strikes, boycotts, and corporate campaigns.  For our nonunion clients, the firm has developed successful legal strategies to resist union organizational attempts. These strategies include assisting managers in the development of education programs emphasizing the benefits of remaining nonunion and the possible downside to being represented by a labor orgaization.  For both union and nonunion clients, we handle matters before the National Labor Relations Board, including unfair labor practice proceedings, representation case hearings, and all other administrative procedures.
